Shipping

 

Orders excluding bikes will be dispatched within 24 hours of receipt and once payment has been approved. Orders placed on a day when the shop is closed, i.e. Sunday, Monday or Public Holiday will be processed within 24 hours of the next business day. Please allow an additional 2 business days for dispatch during busy sale periods.

Please note: any delivery date or time specified by Cycle-Space is a best estimate only – Cycle-Space is not liable for any loss or damage suffered through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery.

As soon as your parcel has been dispatched, you will receive an email notification from us. All parcels will need to be signed for upon arrival. In the event that no one can sign at your delivery address, the courier will leave a card for you to collect from the nearest Post Office. Delivery Of Bikes

We ship all of our bikes within the United Kingdom (excl. Jersey and the Channel Islands) and all of our bikes come pre-assembled, with just a few tweaks required. (Please see our bike assembly guide for details of assembly).

All of our bikes undergo a safety check before being re-boxed for shipping which can, during busy periods, take a little longer to complete. So whilst we aim to ship all of our bikes within two working days of the order, please allow for additional time for this process.

 

Delivery times  

Once items have been dispatched, they will be delivered to your U.K address within 2-3 business days.

Please note: If your delivery address is in the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland, delivery times may be extended, depending on where exactly you live.

 

International customers

Please contact us at [email protected] if you would like to purchase an item online and require it to be shipped internationally, outside of the United Kingdom.

 

Click and collect

When you order a product online with Cycle-Space, you will have the option to Click and Collect in store.

Once we have confirmed the product is in stock, your purchased item will be ready for collection within 24 hours. However for bike purchases, please allow an additional 24 hours for our team to build and safety check the bike.

 

Returns

It is our aim at Cycle-Space to provide a returns service that is totally hassle-free for you. If you're not completely satisfied with an item, you may return it within 14 days of receiving the item.

Items can be returned for a refund as long as they aren’t fitted, used or damaged.

To return your item(s):

  1. Put your unused, labelled item for return back in its original packaging.
  2. Fill in a Returns Form and include this with the item you are returning in a parcel.
  3. Send the parcel to the following address:

Only orders that meet the following conditions may be returned using Royal Mail Tracked Returns

  • Returned parcels must have specific dimensions no larger than 61cm L x 46cm W x 46cm D.
  • Returned parcels must weigh no more than 20Kgs.
  • No aerosols or combustible products.
  • Do not affix the Royal Mail returns label to the product packaging (shoe boxes etc.).

 

Returns Shipping

If the item is being returned as a result of a change of mind, purchased the wrong size, item is not suitable, etc. the consumer is liable for all return costs incurred.

If the item is being returned as a result of our error (damaged, defective, wrong item sent etc), we will refund Royal Mail First Class or Standard Parcel postage costs. We reserve the right to refuse this free service on a case by case basis. Please retain your proof of postage.

Anything outside of the Royal Mail maximum size limits will be subject to a charge. If you pay for additional delivery service, we will not refund the delivery cost unless the item is faulty or the incorrect item has been sent to you.

 

International Refunds

All refunds are processed in GBP (£). Cycle-Space will not refund any charges made by your bank for currency conversions or any customs charges incurred throughout the shipping/returns process. Cycle-Space will not refund differences caused by fluctuations in exchange rates.

Shipping costs will be refunded as outlined in the paragraph above.

 

Package Recycling

Where possible we do try to reuse packaging from our own suppliers in order to send purchased items to our customers. We ask if the packaging is still in good condition after you've received your goods, then please try to use it again or recycle it yourself.

 

Returns Policy

Each returned item should be in its original packaging with the manufacturer's labels attached. Please do not tape or attach labels directly to the retail packaging.

We reserve the right to reject the return of goods which are not returned in accordance with our Returns Policy and we may request that you pay for the shipping of such goods back to you. Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

A deduction will be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary. The extent to which a customer can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.

Item(s) returned without a returns form fully completed could delay the process of your return.

Once we receive your goods, we will inspect and process them within 24hrs. Refunds will automatically be issued to the same payment method used to purchase the goods. As soon as your return has been processed by our team we will email you to let you know. In the unlikely event that you don't receive this email within 10 days of posting your parcel to us, please get in touch with our customer service team by calling our store on 01663 764444 or emailing [email protected].

 

Goods That Cannot Be Returned

There are some goods you can't return if you simply change your mind, including:

  • Used goods including footwear which have had cleats fitted or heat moulded
  • Perishable and other items that deteriorate rapidly such as food, gels or drinks
  • Custom Built, tailor-made or personalised goods
  • Clothing with a hygiene requirement such as cycling knicks or bib shorts
